We have been in business for over 20 years and in that time have had the privilege to work on a variety of fabulous projects with numerous clients. Below are a few of our projects and achievements to date. 

Full Cycle Training Solutions:
Design + Development + Facilitation + Project Management

  • Design, development and delivery of several training meetings and programs for Brookfield Group Fuels (BG Fuels), including facilitated sessions, development of training leader and participant guides, on-the-job tools, evaluation strategies, change management strategies, needs assessment, communication plan, focus group surveys, design of a stand alone training programs for two phases of the Convenience Store Systems training that operated in both a linear and learner driven set of modules with testing for competency, printable tools, system video training, etc. This C-Store training package worked for new hires and refresh training as the navigation design allowed for learner-controlled pace, process and topic selection.

  • Design, development and delivery of many national customer service and retailing excellence programs for  Imperial Oil, including facilitated sessions, development of training leader’s guides, participant guides, on the job tools, evaluation strategies, summaries of evaluations, management of translation, design of branding, logos and themes, research, focus groups, train the trainers, etc.

  • Design and development of an international training program on Active Selling for ExxonMobil, including developing the associated logos and themes, catered full training programs for Canada, United States, England, Europe and Asia.

  • Design and development of national safety workshops for Esso.

  • Partnered with Audience Communications to create training programs for their clients.

  • Many small business projects, including: staff training on a range of topics (safety, dental practices, travel, business communications, teamwork, etc.). Development of role descriptions; development of behaviour based interview questions and process; website design; safety workshops; time management; mediation; event coordination and planning; etc.

Research + Project Management + Coordination

  • Designed and conducted Focus Groups for Kraft, Kindred Sinks in Midland, Esso, ExxonMobil. Tabulated results and made recommendations for next steps.

  • Research, vendor sourcing, project management and event coordination for National Conferences for various Fortune 500 clients.

  • Research, design and development of numerous presentations for business meetings. Clients included non-for-profits, government and Fortune 500 companies.

  • Researched and wrote articles for a small internet start-up.

  • Researched, designed and developed numerous college courses (customer service; hospitality; business communication; cross-cultural business communication; event planning; train the training; how to present and facilitate.

Instructional Design + Delivery/Facilitation + Project Management

  • Designed and delievered numerous courses for college.Topics included-- event management, business communication, customer service, travel, adult learning, effective facilitation and presentation, etc. Courses were a combination of online delivery, faciliated classroom and blended.

  • Designed and delivered motivational training launch for Loblaws.

  • Designed and delivered numerous Train-the-Trainers (teaching internal people how to train and create training).

  • Design, development and facilitation of numerous customer service workshops for Esso, Bank of Montreal, Harris Bank, and independent small businesses.

Instructional Design + Graphic/Web Design + Desktop Publishing + Project Management

  • Design and development of online college courses (business communication, event planning, and concierge/hospitality training).

  • Creation of instructional design strategies for transferring classroom training to web-based and CD-ROM training solutions for the Institute for Learning, Harris Bank and Bank of Montreal, Esso and ExxonMobil.

  • Design and development of numerous print-based and e-learning workbooks, on such topics as: WHIMS, TDG, Petroleum Handling, Safety, Customer Service, Managing the Difficult Customer, Inventory Management, Risk Management, Car Wash Success, Driving Safety, Fraud, Accounting, Troubled Youth, Resume Creation, Behaviour Based Interview Strategies, Office Management, Leadership, Reward and Recognition, etc.

  • Designed and developed numerous websites for Harris Bank, small business owners such as dentists, a student travel and tour company, a small communications company and a start up lunch business.

  • Designed e-learning modules for Banyan, a health care start up that was bought out by SunLife.

  • Created a training CD-ROM for SunLife.

Awards + Recognition

  • Received international recognition awards from the International Performance and Support Institute (ISPI) for 2 years, recognizing Excellent Training programs (The Retailing Excellence Programs developed for Imperial Oil for six years, 2006-2011)

  • Asked to be a speaker at the ISPI International Conference in Boston.

  • Numerous internal awards given to ideas interactive by our clients.
